Road Traffic Accidents

Following a RTA, the Police may wish to interview you if they suspect that you have driven without due care and attention. Owain Rhys Williams will act as a buffer between you and the Police.

We will contact them on your behalf and, if necessary, arrange an interview with the Police at a date and time convenient to you.

Prior to that we will be able to meet with you to fully discuss your case. At the Police Station, we will speak to the Police and find out what they will be asking you. We will ensure you fully understand the case against you before the interview starts and also your right not to reply to questions and the consequences of that. We will ensure the interview is conducted fairly and that you do not feel intimidated.

Following the Police interview, we will advise you as to your next step. We will seek, if possible, to persuade the Police to discontinue the investigation or to consider a more 'favourable' charge to yourself.
