 Disqualification
Discretionary Disqualification - For offences such as careless driving and speeding (where the speed is 25-30 mph over the speed limit) the Magistrates can disqualify you from driving using their discretion. We will prepare mitigation on your behalf to minimise the risk of this. Mitigation can include a report by a specialist firm who will prepare a Court report as to your driving prowess.
Obligatory Disqualification - Drink driving carries an obligatory 12 months (or higher) period of disqualification. We will be able to advise you if you have a defence or alternatively, if we can argue Special Reasons as to why you drove (for instance, if you drove to a medical emergency) which may mean you are not disqualified. |
