Cost of our representing you

We will charge a fixed fee of £150 plus Vat to meet up with you for an hour.

During that time we can check the Crown Prosecution or Police case; take your statement; advise you on the law and any defence you might have. We make sure that you leave the meeting fully informed and completely understanding your position. You will receive a full and detailed letter confirming the meeting.

The choice of our representing you further is yours. Most Clients decide during the meeting to be represented further.

A fixed fee can be agreed. Many clients prefer this option as it means that even if Court hearings are prolonged (perhaps because another lengthy case is called on before yours), it will not affect the final bill. Payment is on account of work being carried out. We accept Visa and all major credit cards. As a guide for a guilty plea on a disqualification from driving case we would charge £300 (plus VAT) for all preparation and £450 (plus VAT) for all court work.

Alternatively our costs are calculated on an hourly basis - 1 hour = £150 plus VAT. Letters and telephone calls are charged at £15 plus VAT per item.

Legal Aid - We do not provide advice or representation under the legal aid scheme. A means test is now in place to obtain legal aid.
